05.Booking & Payments
Booking Confirmation
After you request a trip, we send you a detailed itinerary.
Your booking is confirmed only after you accept it and make payment.
Payment Terms
• 50% deposit required to confirm booking
• Full payment required before travel (usually 60 days prior)
• Last-minute bookings require full payment immediately

Safari travel includes risks such as:

By booking, you accept these risks.
14.Limitation of Liability
We are responsible only for services we provide.

• Third-party services

• Unexpected events

If you face any issue:

After your trip, report issues within 28 days.
Cancellation & Postponement Policy
Extreme African Wonders – Cancellation & Postponement Policy Cancellation by the Client
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
Cancellation charges are as follows:
. More than 60 days before arrival: Full refund less bank charges and any non-refundable supplier fees.
. 59-31 days before arrival: 30% of the total safari cost will be charged.
. 30-15 days before arrival: 50% of the total safari cost will be charged.
. 14-7 days before arrival: 75% of the total safari cost will be charged.
. Less than 7 days before arrival, no-show, or after the safari has commenced: 100% of the total safari cost is non-refundable.
Please note that , some lodges, camps, domestic flights, gorilla permits, chimpanzee permits, park permits, and special activities may be non-refundable regardless of the cancellation date. Any unrecoverable costs charged by our suppliers will be deducted from any refund.
Postponement of Travel
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. If you need to postpone your safari:
Requests must be made in writing.
Postponements requested 60 days or more before arrival may be transferred to new travel dates within 12 months, subject to availability and supplier approval.
A booking amendment fee may apply, together with any additional costs resulting from seasonal rate changes, accommodation upgrades, airline changes, park fee increases, or supplier penalties.
Postponement requests made within 60 days of arrival will be handled on a case-by-case basis and are subject to supplier policies. Any non-refundable expenses already incurred will remain payable.
Only one complimentary date change is permitted. Additional changes may incur administrative fees.
Cancellation by Extreme African Wonders
In the unlikely event that Extreme African Wonders is unable to operate your confirmed safari due to circumstances beyond our control, we will offer one of the following options:
Transfer your booking to alternative travel dates.
Offer a comparable safari itinerary.
Provide a refund for recoverable funds received from our suppliers.
Force Majeure
Extreme African Wonders shall not be liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government restrictions, political unrest, strikes, or other force majeure events. In such cases, we will work closely with our suppliers to obtain the maximum possible credit or refund and assist clients in rescheduling their safari whenever possible.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that every guest purchases comprehensive travel insurance immediately after confirming their booking. The policy should include cover for trip cancellation, postponement, medical emergencies, evacuation, baggage loss, flight disruptions, and other unforeseen travel events.
Extreme African Wonders – Payment Terms & Procedures
Booking ConfirmationTo confirm your safari or holiday booking, a 30% non-refundable deposit of the total tour cost is required. Your reservation will be confirmed once the deposit has been received and a booking confirmation has been issued.
For bookings made 30 days or less before the travel date, full payment (100%) is required at the time of booking.
Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid 30 days before your arrival in Tanzania.
If full payment is not received by the due date, Extreme African Wonders reserves the right to cancel the booking and apply the applicable cancellation charges.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
• International Bank Transfer (Wire Transfer)
• Visa, Mastercard and Amex
• Online payments We Travel (To be Advised shortly)
• Mobile Money (M-Pesa, Airtel Money or other approved services for local and regional clients)
• Cash payments in USD or Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) upon prior agreement
Currency
Our safari prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
Payments may also be made in United States Dollars (USD)
Bank & Card Charges
All bank transfer fees, intermediary bank charges, currency conversion fees and credit/debit card processing charges are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed.

Payment Confirmation
After making your payment, please email us:
• Your full name
• Booking reference number
• Proof of payment (bank receipt or payment confirmation)
Once payment has been verified, we will send you an official payment receipt and confirm your booking.
Secure Payments
Extreme African Wonders is committed to ensuring that all payments are processed securely. Your personal and financial information will be treated with the highest level of confidentiality.
Changes to Your Booking
Additional services, accommodation upgrades, flight changes, or itinerary amendments requested after booking may result in additional charges. Any outstanding balance must be settled before travel.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, baggage loss, travel delays and other unforeseen events before travelling to Tanzania.
Important Information
• Bank transfer payments should be initiated early to allow sufficient processing time.
• Please ensure your name or booking reference appears on the payment transaction.
• Clients are responsible for any international transfer or intermediary bank fees.
• Bookings will only be guaranteed after the required payment has been received and confirmed by Extreme African Wonders.
